Stewart Bratcher has successfully handled more than 20 appeals before the appellate courts of the State of Georgia. Williams v. State, 298 Ga. 208 (2015)- Stewart successfully briefed and orally argued this matter before the Supreme Court of Georgia. The Court affirmed a jury's verdict convicting the defendant of murder in a case where he allowed his toddler to ingest the cocaine he sold out of the family home.
Hammock v. State, 314 Ga. App. 344 (2011)- In a theft by taking case, Stewart was able to persuade a full panel of the Court of Appeals of Georgia to overrule prior precedent interpreting the Georgia hearsay statute.
Mauldin v. State 313 Ga. App. 228 (2011)- Successfully briefed and orally argued before the Court of Appeals of Georgia to uphold a defendant's conviction for child molestation.
